With stunning work from the cast under Director Paul McGuigan with DoP Tony Slater Ling and Production Designer Cristina Casali, series 2 of The Undeclared War steps onwards from the tension of series 1 into a fast paced narrative of international espionage, political tensions and intimate loyalties and betrayals. 

From Google: Set in 2024 the series will focus on the aftermath of a Russian cyberattack as the GCHQ (Government Communications Headquarters) team deals with the fallout. The elite Malware Department must confront a new, more dangerous threat, while a new character, Lt Colonel Roz Cavendish, is brought in to lead a rapid response team, potentially challenging Director Danny Patrick's authority. The series will continue to explore the high-stakes world of cyber warfare leading up to a British general election.
